PSC Panthers place sixth in UCA XC Challenge

CONWAY, Ark. | With a total score of 152, the Philander Smith College men's cross country team finished sixth out of seven teams at the recent University of Central Arkansas Cross Country Challenge held at Beaverfolk Lake. The Panthers tallied a total time of 1:39:22 in the 5K race (3.11 miles).

PSC's Desmond Merritt was the first to finish for the Panthers (38th overall), posting a time of 17:52. Justin Holland finished next for Philander Smith (49th overall) with a time of 19:27. Isaiah Millett was next to cross the finish line for the Panthers (51st), posting a time of 20:14 while teammates Hassan El-Amin and Miles Flood finished 54th and 55th with times of 20:51.9 and 20:55.6 respectively.

With a time of 21:43.5, Jahsir Williams rounded out the scoring for the Panthers, good for 57th overall.
