Short-Handed Bulldogs Drop Second Straight GCAC Game
JACKSON, Miss. – Tyon Thompson scored 18 points, but it was not enough as the Fisk Bulldogs (3-6, 0-2 GCAC) fell to the Tougaloo Bulldogs 61-53 in Gulf Coast Athletic Conference action from Jackson, Mississippi.
Thompson was the only Fisk player in double figures as they played with starters Michael Ashley and Blake Goodman. Tougaloo led wire to wire, salting the game away late, going up 61-49 with 1:54 left, which was their largest lead.
Fisk will be back in action on Tuesday when they go to Henderson, Tennessee to take on Freed-Hardeman.
